Hello Khao San Road

Well, I'm back in backpacker land. I'm spending the night on Khao San road in Bangkok and then taking the bus to Cambodia (Siem Riep) at 7 in the morning.

It seems I changed too much money at the Airport (Bangkok this time). I thought it might be good to change 30 bucks but apparently that was much much more than I needed. Dinner was 20 baht (50 cents), my room is 140 baht ($3.40) alarm clock with battery- 80 baht (2 bucks), and bus ride to Siem Riep 450 baht ($ 10.96)... Maybe I'll splurge on breakfast.

I was surprised at the cheap fare to Cambodia. I expected to pay around 150 dollars for a flight. I am really happy with the savings, but I hear Cambodian roads are uneven and that the bus takes 13 hours... We'll see how tomorrow goes.
